Madame Lefeber is one of the most famous Fosteriana tulips and that's why she has got the nickname 'Red Emperor Tulip'. This tulip was discovered in 1900 by one of the founders of tulip cultivation in the Netherlands; D.W. Lefeber. The tulip has a beautiful bright red flower and a very solid and massive crop. This is an excellent garden tulip!
